Plants need to be watered every single day to stay healthy.
Fact
Most plants thrive on deep, infrequent watering rather than a rigid daily schedule.
Daily light watering keeps moisture in the top inch of soil, which encourages roots to stay shallow and close to the surface. Shallow roots are more vulnerable to heat, drought stress, and physical disturbance. Deep, less frequent watering — soaking the root zone thoroughly, then allowing the soil to partially dry — encourages roots to grow downward in search of moisture, producing more resilient, drought-tolerant plants.
